Veeral grew up learning both English as well as his parents' native language of Gujurati. Veeral participated in several sports as a child, including soccer, basketball, and track and field.

High School

Veeral went to Walter Panas High School. He was a member of the school's cross country and track and field teams for all four years of high school. He was president of the National Honor Society his senior year of high school. Veeral was admitted to the Social Sciences department of Rice University in Houston, Texas in April of 2015.
