My name is Qi(Sonia) Zhang, a current master student in Statistics at Rice University.

I have a solid foundation in machine learning and data mining, be proficient in programming languages and be able to adapt to team work quickly.

I have knowledge of various machine learning and statistical modeling algorithms. I got great scores in courses such as Machine Learning, Data Mining, Sampling Methods, Multivariate Data Analysis and Stochastic Process, from which I learned general linear models, stochastic models, sampling methods, random forest and structural equation model. More importantly, I have been using R, Python and Linux for more than three years. I’m able to realize algorithms with R and Python.
