A list the top 1000 most popular baby names every ten years from 1936 to 2006 is available for researchers (SSA-Top1000BabyNames1936to2006.txt). From this list 4267 distinct first names were classified as Male (0), Female(1), or Androgenous (2) (SSA-BabyNamesByGender.txt).
