For nearly 40 years, members have benefited from NAWBO’s growing network, advocacy and available resources. Through NAWBO, you’ll find support and resources to help you grow your business and enrich your life.
Many women don’t know where to turn when they decide to start a business. NAWBO can help! Association with NAWBO can mean the difference between making it or not making it! Here, you will make associations with other successful women and learn the ins and outs making your business a success. The National Association of Women Business Owners® Owners (NAWBO®NAWBO) Houston is the local chapter of NAWBO National, the voice of America’s 10.6 million womena national member-owned businesses. Network with based organization designed to help women share business owners from every industry on resources and provide a local and national level. Leadership unifying voice to speak to policymakers and other organizations regarding women's broad business development traininginterests. Attend conferences and seminars on NAWBO claims that their strength comes from the trends, regulations diversity of their membership; members are women from all types and new technologies that impact your business. Take part in an integrated online community sizes of women business ownersbusinesses across the United States. The community includes special interest groups, vendor or joint venture searches, Houston chapter of the NAWBO has monthly networking and help forumsbusiness education luncheons held on the 4th Thursday of each month. ==Membership==
Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners, and corporate women-business owners with management responsibilities. Membership in a local chapter also entails membership of the larger national organization. There are three membership levels. Introductory members pay a $100 one-time initiation fee, and $19.95 per month following initiation. Premier members pay a $100 one-time initiation fee, and $29.95 per month following initiation. Supporting members pay a $100 one-time initiation fee, and $39.95 per month following initiation. Dues covers the primary activity of the organization's networking events.
