06/0820/2016 - LexMachina variables and understanding patent trial litigation/dockets 06/21/2016 - Lit review for [[Little Guy Academic Paper]] and [[Guide to Patent Litigation]] wiki page.  06/23/2016 - SQL patent data and defining small and micro entities. 06/24/2016 - Wiki page for small and micro entities ([[Small Entity vs. Micro Entity]]), SQL patent data.  06/27/2016 - Made tables in SQL patent data (ex: US only assignees) , looked at potential tables that need to made for the paper.  06/28/2016 - Worked on including firms no country and counting patent assignees and finishing Lex Machina Variables. 06/29/2016 - Working Finished LexMachina Spreadsheet and refined SQL tables. Added another problem on Innovation Policy the Wiki Page for the database. 07/05/2016 - Exported Judges/Courts into Excel spreadsheet, finalized LexMachina data pull. 07/06/2016 - Began designing the [[Patent Data Wiki Page research ]] and working with assignee data.  07/07/2016 - Worked on finding errors in citation table in patent. Found errors with cited patent entries and worked on solving the problems (blanks, long codes). 07/08/2016 - [[America Invents Act]], Wiki page work and writingorganizing lex machina proposal.  07/11/2016 - Wrote data proposal, worked on wiki page and SQL data. 07/12/2016 - found patstats, wiki page cleanup. 07/13/2016 - documented patstats, linked and created pages on wiki. ===Spring 2017=== 03/24/2017 - created ptoassignee_current table by creating a series of 5 other tables. 03/28/2017 - created ptoassignee_currentusa table, cleaned documentids. began working on patentmsa table by looking at string-to-array functions. was unable to make code work but have a direction moving forward. checked that ptoassignee_current had taken most recent recorded_date for the patents. [[Category:Work Log]]
