==Short Biography==Edward J. Egan, Ph.D., is an applied micro-economist. He received his Ph.D. from the [https://haas.berkeley.edu/ Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley] in 2012, where he specialized in business economics, public policy, and finance.

Dr. Egan is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded his first high-tech startup at the age of 19. He also worked as a venture capitalist in Vancouver, Canada. Throughout his career, Dr. Egan remains has been active as an economic advisor to local, state , and federal governments, as well as an economic consultant to firms ranging from pre-incorporation startups to Fortune 500 companies. He currently lives in Stowe, Vermont, with his wife, Lauren, and his two Border Collies, Noodles and Ralph.
