The '''Business and Public Policy''' group at the Haas School of Business hosts Haas' equivalent of a '''Strategy and Business Economics''' PhD program. The program is highly respected, with one of the best placement records in the field. For more information please see either the [http://groups.haas.berkeley.edu/bpp/ BPP Group Pages] or the [http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/Phd/academics/bpp/index.html Haas BPP PhD Program Pages].

[[Category:BPP]] Insert the following code at the head of each page The pages in this section: <nowiki>*This page is in the [[BPP]] category [[Category:BPP]]</nowiki>are kept for historical reference and are no longer supported.
This also adds the page to the [[:Category:BPP |BPP category directory]].===Pages for faculty===
==Organizational The primary idea behind this wiki was to create a resource for students by students. However, part of being a PhD student involves interacting with the faculty, as it seems that we would be wasting an opportunity if we were to bar faculty from the entire resource. So, as a compromise, I (Ed) propose allowing faculty read and edit access to some pages for , but keeping other pages private to just the student body. It would be great if you could provide any thoughts that you have on this on the [[Talk:BPP Students==| talk page]]. As a starting point, pages listed in this sub-section will have faculty access, as will the course pages section, but pages in the organizational section, and other sections, will be restricted to students only.
The organizational pages Pages with faculty access include:*[[PHDBA279S (Fall 2011) Official Version]]
*[[BPP Students | A current list of BPP students]]
 ===Organizational pages for BPP Students=== The organizational pages (restricted to students only) include:*[[PHDBA279S (Fall 20102011) | The 2010 2011 Fall BPP Student Seminar (PHDBA279S)- Student Version]]*[[PHDBA279S Presentation Institutions]]
*[[BPP Social Calendar (Fall 2010) | The BPP Social Calendar]]
*[[IDS270 (Fall 2010) | The 2010 Fall OEW page for students]]
*The [[OEW Signup Sheet]] for BPP PhD students
*The [[BPP Student Institutions]] page
*The [[BPP Course Requirements]] page - particularly useful for 1st & 2nd years

===Editing Wiki Pages===

Historic BPP core course However, editing pages:*[[PHDBA279A | PHDBA 279A is easy - Political Institutionsjust click the edit link and type away! Don't worry about making mistakes, Business and Public Policy (2009)]]*[[PHDBA279B | PHDBA 279B - Incentives and Organizations we can always revert to a previous version or fix things later. And feel free to edit ANY content in the BPP section in Markets any fashion you wish. If there is something controversial we can always "discuss" it on the talk page (2010)]]*e.g. this page's [[PHDBA279C Talk:BPP | PHDBA 279C - Technology Dynamics and Firm Strategy (2008)talk page is here]]*[[ECON224 | ECON 224 - The Economics of Institutions (2009)]].
