Avesh J. Krishna is a sophomore at Rice University studying Political Science and Policy Studies. He currently works as a research assistant for the Baker Institute for Public Policy’s McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
==Education==
Avesh graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Connecticut in June 2015. At Ridgefield High School Avesh was the captain of the Mock Trial Team and Debate Team as well as serving in leadership roles in student government and the National Honor Society chapter. His involvement in debate and mock trial motivated him to pursue further study in the social sciences, and flirts with the idea of attending law schoolor pursuing postgraduate degrees in the social sciences. In August 2015, Avesh began his undergraduate education at Rice University in Houston, Texas where he currently is a sophomore Political Science & Economics major and pursuing a minor in statistics. He is a member of Brown College at Riceand serves on its executive cabinet (government).
