This past In Summer 2017, Avesh worked as a political & research intern for the New American Leaders Project in New York, New York. He additionally conducted data analysis for the Connecticut Democratic Party as their data fellow. The prior summer, Avesh worked as a research intern at IBM Research in Yorktown Heights, New York. He worked with the Deep Learning group to develop visualization techniques for training processes. Avesh has is also worked working with the Center for Local Elections for America Project American Politics as a research assistant collecting where he works on reports and analyzing local governments across academic research regarding the nationelectoral landscape and candidate emergence (with special focus on gender and racial factors). The prior summerAdditionally, Avesh worked as an intellectual property analyst at Intellectual Profit LLC where he gained experience with the legal and commercial aspects of innovation.
